Responsibilities

• Indirect taxes (Sales and Use Tax / Excise Tax / Property Tax / Specialty Taxes)
  • Partner with tax consultants and jurisdictions to ensure taxes are paid correctly and timely
  • Manage infrequent tax audits and annual business licenses registrations
  • Reconciliation of tax payments and financial statements
  • Analysis of tax positions
  • Administrator of compliance systems
• Manage inventory accounting for nine divisions.
• Assist with closing the ledger monthly to provide timely and accurate data to Senior Leadership team.
• Assist with various projects that will require organizational change management and data transformation capabilities.
• Provide backup coverage to the accounting team as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 year Business Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years experience
• Capable of building and maintaining effective and trusting relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven data transformation, analytic and visualization skills
